OF CALIFORNIA
Preserving aviation history.
Inspiring the next generation.
Building a stronger community.
MORE THAN A MUSEUM
A Passion for Aviation. A Purpose for Education.
Founded in 1981 by aviation enthusiasts with a passion for education, the Aerospace Museum of California has grown from a small collection of historic aircraft into one of Northern California's premier museums and educational destinations.
From our home at McClellan Park, we preserve remarkable aircraft and artifacts, share the stories of aviation and space exploration, and inspire curiosity in visitors of every age through hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences.
OUR MISSION
TO INSPIRE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES
THROUGH THE POWER OF FLIGHT, INNOVATION, AND DISCOVERY.
Through engaging exhibits, hands-on STEM programs,
educational experiences, and community partnerships, we preserve aviation history while inspiring the next generation of explorers, innovators, and dreamers.
POWERED BY COMMUNITY
Great achievements are never accomplished alone.
We're proud to partner with businesses, foundations, educators, government agencies, and community organizations that share our commitment to inspiring future generations through aviation, science, technology, and education.
Together, these partnerships make it possible to expand educational opportunities, preserve history, and create meaningful experiences for every visitor who walks through our doors.
